If he's bought put and plans to bounce back he's only signing a 1 year deal not 2.

I also dont think his contract is bad at all and that Nashville just misused him

I don’t think you can buyout a player and resign him after. CGY did it with Michael Stone a couple years ago and I think they fixed that issue after that buyout/resigning

You, and Myers don't have much faith that Myers is NHL competent since you got him to sign a UFA contract for 750,000. Leafs have enough AHL Dmen.

Only thing Myers is good for is his buyout. As you get money back. Really surprised nobody claimed him for that reason lul

He's not going to be playing in the minors next year though.

I like the idea.

Low risk, high reward.

But only if he’s bought out.

He’s shown potential in the past. He was actually good in Philly. Not sure what happened in NSH. Plus, he’ll already know the room in the AHL, and have an NHL opportunity,
