Was going to say the same, shoot to over pay for 1-2 years of Kuemper or Husso. Thought we are giving up to much for Bear. I don't like the idea of signing a UFA forward for more than 2 years this off-season.

Eller is almost certainly gone from Washington, but likely not for that price. He could fetch a 3rd from a contender in need of a 3C, as Washington isn’t looking to trade him due to poor performance, but rather because we want a spot for McMichael.

Yeah the guy has a nice story but his stats say 3rd pairing maybe a 7th Dman, Ryan Johnson has 2nd pairing upside but maybe his main thing is to just get rid of Mittelstadt I know there is a guy in here who throws Mittelstadt into every trade lol.

These Bear trades keep getting worse and worse. He's worth no more than a 3rd. Mittelstadt is a more impactful player. Johnson will be everything Bear is but without the major defensive flaws
