That $11M a season was always going to look bad for the last few years. No different than any of long term high dollar contracts that 28-29 year olds get. Ovi also just came off a 13 year $120-ish million dollar contract, he didn't even need to take a raise. They also signed contracts at different ages so it's tough to do a direct comparison.
