Sorry but even adding Miller Columbus isn’t a playoff team in the metro unless a few teams take a major step back, thus their 1st isn’t available. Plus at that price Columbus would be better off waiting for Miller to be a UFA and keeping their picks and Boqvist.

Tbh I think VAN rejects. Myers has the better contract and honestly has been the better player this year. Plus he leads the league in neck length-per-60

Yea thats just not true. Feels like you haven't watched him play in a while or at all. Agreed 6m is too much but 4m is more reasonable. He is 3 years younger than Petry, has a smaller cap hit and fewer years remaining. Not to mention that he transitions the puck well is has far more utility than a PK defenceman, he is a legit number 4 dman being forced to be a number 3.

I do and he's not good. Those with old school beliefs like him because he's big and physical but he gets beat all the time. He's just not remotely close to a 6 million dollar player. He's paid like a #1 but he's a bottom pair guy.

Agreed that he gets beat more regularly than you'd like to see but his game isn't that big/physical game you're talking about. He moves the puck well and skates well (especially for a guy his size). He is a 2-way dman and again, agree he is overpaid but if he were at a 4m caphit, I wouldn't even think about trading him. He is actually quite useful and definitely a top-4 dman just overpaid and VAN is in a tougher cap situation.

I wouldn't want Myers for 2 million. I don't see much of a two way game, he adds little offence and his defensive game isn't really that good.
