People and teams that are mad at Vegas for giving players the things they are looking for and exploiting the rules that everyone agreed with on the CBA are silly, if there's a good trade to be made with Vegas the Blues should make it, even if it helps them too. And if it helps us, fans shouldn't be salty about also "helping" Vegas.

But I don't think this is a good trade. I like Hague quite a bit and the first round pick is nice, but if the Blues and Tarasenko have been able to work past their differences, they should look elsewhere to improve the defense, and if they are insistent on trading Tarasenko I might look towards New Jersey or the Rangers- teams that can put together a really good package for him and are likely going to need wingers. This is a PPG winger signed to a very reasonable 7.5 million contract, we should get a difference maker back or we should keep him.
