That 3rd line has not played 1 second together all season. Kerfoot has barely played centre this year as well. Our current 3rd line with Kampf at centre is doing amazing.

I strongly doubt these end up being the lines.

3rd line was the Habs playoff line that was like our only producing line. Kampf line is similar to what it has it has been often in the year, essentially swapping out Kase for Blackwell who is another good defensive player. just added another good line essentially

I'd have Kampf line taking shifts against their top 6 and killing penalties, opening matchups for 3 good offensive lines

A couple "on paper" advantages the Leafs have this year, if they happen to play Boston are: Krejeci as 2nd liner isn't playing, Tukka Rask isn't playing. Mike Babcock isn't coaching.
Defence has more depth....and should be playoff better.

agreed for sure, better outlook. They did swap out Krejci for Hall. I think Krejci is more impactful as a C but still worth noting. Also no more Chara, but McAvoy has gotten a lot better since we last played BOS in a series and they got Lindholm. Swayman is pretty good though. But i suppose he's not prime Rask. I want the BOS matchup over Tampa. Partly bc I'm terrified of playing Vasilevskiy and partly bc I feel like making it out of the first round beating the team that has caused us so many issues would be a huge confidence booster for the team.

How's this scenery. Leafs beat Bruins. Canes have an exhausting series against Tampa, that Canes win. Leafs play beat Canes in round two. On to round three.

Hope so. I think a BOS series would be pretty exhausting for Leafs too though can't see it ending any earlier than 6 games.
