Not that I blame Eichel for wanting out. But Eichel kinda did to himself by signing a an eight year extension with a bad organization. IMO the Sabres have turned the corner and might be considered a place to play very soon....prospects and cap space.
Heck Jersey was a place no one wanted to play, but they are turning the corner too.

Because he's a late birthday born in 2002 and signed his deal in 2022, Owen Power's Entry Level Signing Age is 20.This means that he is not slide eligible and will burn the first year off his EL contract regardless if he plays in a game this season or not.

we used 7 goalies this year what else could you expect

Who would have predicted that both their goalies would have gotten injured and they have to rely on a 21 YO goalie?
And their two best players both missing significant time this year

Sabres are doing the rebuild right this time. Building from the draft. Two #1 D's potentially. They still need to hit on a couple of their forward prospects, but I like their direction.

We've said it before and they failed, but they are a young NHL goalie away from looking like becoming a future contender. Ukka hasn't progressed the way you would want a goalie to progress, so I think they need to set their eyes on someone else.
