No appreciation of Ranger cap. Futures aren't happening. Wings are giving up two second rounders for 5.9m Schmidt. They can just sign a UFA. Now if want to "gift" Schmidt to the Wings might do it.

FWIW, I would not call WPG a big market by any stretch. I think Cbus is a bigger market…

Still a mystery. Didn’t talk to his teammates, didn’t have a contract impasse with management. Said it wasn’t Torts, but even if it was, he should know that he is going to last longer in the league than Torts…
