IF (big if) the NYR/Kravtsov relationship is truly severed and irrepairable, then i'd love to see something like this trade (or one with LA for Vilardi). Rangers need some C depth and these young guys that might "need a change of scenery" are the ones they should be targeting.

Don't they? I know they just signed Vejelkma but he strikes me as more of a platoon guy than a bonafide #1 starter. I think a platoon of him and Georgie could actually be pretty good for the Yotes

Nah. The one thing the yotes always do well is find goalies. Bring back wedgewood, promote prosvetov, promote korenar, take on a cap dump in mrazek with a sweetener, they have plenty of options that don’t include overpaying
