From a Blues standpoint I love the first trade, don't like the second one and think it's unnecessary.
Toronto likely declines though as they don't want Binner for 5 more seasons at 6.

Agree with the comments, don't want the deal. But NTC Muzzin and NTC Binnington likely don't want the trade either.

id rather have roy or durzi tho tbh but they are batter so makes sense

i dont like it too much either idk if blues would say yes but muzzins been below average too and hes older so theres a less chance he bounces back too.
id rather get a true younger defensive defensman

Interesting concept. Binner seems to be on a bit of a decline over the last couple season, but goalies are unpredictable at the best of times. The term left on his contract is a bit of an issue.

I think I'd personally consider it if there was a little bit of savings against the cap, but that's not really the case here. I'm sure TOR would decline.

Right now both Muzzin and Mrazak have contracts that expire the same year as Matthews and Nylander. They can use the cap space they gain from those contracts to re-sign their big names. Taking in the awful binnington contract will make that way harder
