Of course Muzzin stays, he has a NTC and is on a bad contract. But for those signings....does Giordano have the motivation to take a Spezza deal? (hope so). Vatrano and Blackwell could likely get more elsewhere. Engvall is arbitration eligible could get more. Even Lybushin, could probably get a better deal. Like your lineup though, I wish it could happen. Just think if the Leafs want to resign the majority of their players next season, more cap besides Mrzarek has to leave.

You're not getting a 2nd and 3rd round pick for Petr Mrazek, Right now you'd be lucky to get a conditional 7th rounder for him. you're basically looking at a futures package here.

I mean, if I'm Chicago my first thought is probably that I'm probably not moving the 39th OA pick and a 60th-ish picks to move up 10 places in a draft that's pretty even from picks 15-45...And then you want me to take Mrazek? Dubas backloaded that deal...I'm not paying Mrazek $8.6 million dollars in the hope that he's all of the sudden not terrible. Maybe Dubas doesn't pay a 1st to dump that contract, but that's not the type of deal that the Arizona's of the league happily pick up just to hit the cap floor.

Leafs don’t need to get anything significant in return for moving him, the cap space free’d up is enough. & it’s not worth a 1st to move him. Remember what people on here said it would take to move Ritchie and how little did that take?

Leafs will take the small return to move Mrazek easier and not lose a significant pick or prospect/player. If that’s the ask, Leafs buyout Mrazek for fairly cheap and keep all their assets. Thus definitely isn’t worth it for Toronto.

I think Dubas will at least explore moving both Muzzin and mrazek this offseason. Possibly move Mrazek with kase's rights provided he makes a successful return. Muzzin will need to pick his team and leafs may need to sweeten the deal or eat some money. With the ntc for Muzzin and 10 team no trade with mrazek it may be difficult but not impossible.

I can't see Holl being moved. Good contract for how he performs.

if montreal fans have taught me anything it's that injured goalies who arnt nearly as good as they used to be are worth huge packages involving 1sts and top prospects coming back. So the leafs clearly dont do that
