Description

Buffalo is under the cap.
I would think Karmanos could wheel and deal to have a player sent to Buffalo with an asset.
Peterka may make the team next year, but I think Quinn is a certainty.
Pysyk, Hinostroza have earned a contract, while Miller may be the only UFA RHD that will sign with Buffalo.
Maybe Karmanos can add another GK to help reach the cap.
Murray could be a good gamble as he had his best seasons with Mike Bales as his GK coach.
There are many options, so time will tell.
If the cap max increases to 82,500,000 the minimum cap will be about 60,940,000

You are obviously watching a different Colin Miller.
ONLY Dahlin has a higher pts/min 1.6 v 1.2.
He has highest PDO (SPSV%) of all defensemen.
The highest CF% 49.5 of all defensemen.
The lowest +/- of ALL defensemen.
He moves the puck well, has a hard shot, and passes well (only Dahlin has more primary assists than he).
He would be a very good mentor for Power.
Before he was injured, he was on pace to his best season ever, Adams was absolutely correct at that point in the season he was worth a first round pick.
I would be very happy to see him resigned.

I don't hate that as much as throwing huge contracts at former islanders wingers who enjoyed success with John Tavares.
