Why exactly is Price there? I get the precedent, just that he hasn't played this season

The forwards look good for the most part but Id make some changes on defense. I say this about pretty much every team canada roster posted but I think you have too many PP QBs and not enough defensive/role players. Makar is a lock for PP1 and you really only need 1 or 2 more PP QB defensemen on top of that. Id prioritize D men who can kill penalties and play strong defensively. Spurgeon, Weegar, etc should be here imo

I get what you're saying, but it's not like these offensive dmen only thrive on the power play, guys like Theodore, Reilly, Ekblad are all capable 2-way dmen who can transition the puck extremely well and drive play at even strength, as well as contribute on the PK if needed. But if they decide to go for more defensively I could see a guy like Weegar or Nurse making the cut

Ekblad is good all around, but Theodore and Rielly aren't good 2 way. They are good offensively but have been pretty weak defensively this year. If they aren't used on the PP (where the majority of their value lies) I think Spurgeon and Weegar would do better in a even strength + PK role
