I know Minnesota has cap issues with the full impact of their buyouts kicking in next season, but I expect they'll do all they can to find a way to keep Fiala. If they do have to trade him, the fact that he's unsigned and arbitration eligible will reduce his trade value, so this might be a good return depending on how good a prospect Holmstrom is. (I don't know, other than that I can see he hasn't been putting up big numbers in the AHL.)

It'll be either Fiala or Dumba out before next season, and Fiala's trade value is way higher. They re-signed Goligoski though, so it could go the other way - we'll see!
