Yeah I’ve been watching some NYR games and I have to say Hunt despite lacking a shot is able to make some nice puck carries and interceptions. He seems to have more tools on the cycle than Reaves.

I don't think it'll happen with Lehner because they want him back for the playoffs (if they get in), but I do like this idea. Rangers have the space to help them out by taking on a contract (Dadonov?) and just not playing him. Good way to recoup a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

EDIT: DIdn't realize Dadonov has another year left. Rangers aren't gonna do that. They could take on Jannmark, but that only saves Vegas 2M. Or they could take on Reilly Smith, but he's on IR and could probably just as easily be moved to LTIR?

Thanks to Reaves & Goodrow, every NYR put on 20lbs of muscle and play like a team. Hunt has energy and is a solid 13F. Reaves is a smart player, knows what to do and never hurts us. For this & next season, Reaves all day long, even if he's just a spare next year

I wouldn’t say the muscle gain has been beneficial to all players. Lafreniere looks like he’s weazing through most of his shifts, his mouth is hanging open from the fatigue & he doesn’t have the ability to consistently make plays at high speed.
