This is done to save long shifts by top players and make it harder for the other team to shut down the 'line'. Spread out minutes for the top 3 lines, it was done by Pittsburgh to win their cups.

Spreading the talent is one thing. Nylander on your 4th line is flatout dumb

after your early elimination in the first or 2nd rd, you need to trade for john gibson. no team has won a cup with an average goalie. your in a division with the likes of vas and bob. idk when your gm will learn that.

Nope, not if you assume equal times spread out through lines by coach

Well I'm gonna assume that that will never happen because it won't.
Auston Matthews is a generational superstar, he should probably play more than "equal time".

Wayne Simmonds should also never be in the top 6.

unpopular opinion: but streaks>stats for goalies, you can have a .980 sv percentage and be an all-star goalie but in the last month have .880 and lose everything

unpopular opinion that fits your narrative, bob isnt bob anymore and in no way should be mentioned in the same sentence as vasa, oh and hes also making 10m a year

Depth is key for championships, Canadiens had no superstars or franchise talents but were deep and had a goalie, I like the idea of a 1A,1B,1C and ever since the Oilers started doing this they are playoff despite lacking defence and goalie

He’s 13-23 with a .899 sv and a 3.24 GAA. Just stop. You don’t know what you’re talking about. At least make an attempt to look stuff up before you try to sound smart

still more experience than campbell. the leafs tried to make a back up goalie and ride him on his hot streak. he cracked when a big game came up (game 5 6 7 last year vs the habs). any nhl GM with more than 1 braincell would take bob over campbell. and funny how you didn't even respond to my point about vas. at this point boston has better goaltending than toronto. leafs management is prob kissing the hockey gods thanking them that they dont have to face price again in the playoffs. they aren't getting anywhere with 2 back up goalies. bob is a WAY better goalie than campbell. he's prove himself to step up. of course he had a horrible run in the playoffs last year. but just take a look at his 2 runs before that. he's only 32 and he's playing behind a confident panthers group. go research that bud.

More games equals more experience no **** lol but you’re trying to create a narrative that bob is a good playoff performer, I never once said campbell was better but you mentioned bob and vasa In the same sentence when there nowhere near eachother and I just stated facts Campbell and bob have similar stats and bob has bad playoff numbers when you said he had a good playoff record and mentioned a vezina 5 years ago lol, the argument wasn’t about vasa so why would I bring him up lol and now your contradicting yourself bringing up Boston’s goalies who haven’t even played a playoff game when all you’ve been talking about is experience lol, just constantly moving the goal posts because you don’t know what you’re talking about. Bob has more games played than campbell, so there’s your experience lol, you look at the numbers the last 2 seasons and campbells are similar if not better than bobs. I’m not saying campbell is better but you’re using bibs reputation when he was at his best years ago, you’re just mad you keep getting proven wrong. It’s ok
