Dadonov's 10-team no trade list was supposed to be submitted by July 1, 2021 which was 7 days before the Senators traded him to Vegas. Not sure where things were lost, whether he submitted it to Ottawa and it never got to Vegas, or what. I'm also not sure how the NHL will rule.

So now Dadonov has to go back to the team who gave up assets to get rid of him. I don't even know what's going to happen now. Vegas has to trade him away to be cap compliant, so he's likely done for the season.

Gonna be a very toxic relationship, or may just end up being like Tarasenko (minus the trading lul) where they tolerate each other until a move is made.

Either way hes probs gone in the summer or heck within a week.

I can't see it being like Tarasenko. Vegas tried to **** Dadonov over and told him they didn't want him (by dumping his salary and adding picks with it). Now Dadonov told them no, so I don't even know what's next. I could definitely see Vegas telling Dadonov not to report.

it's going to be interesting finding a team to take him. he's still got another year and it's a backloaded contract. has a 10 team ntc and there aren't many teams that can affford him and hard to say how many actually want him.

Capfriendly said today any players traded after the 3PM deadline are ineligible to play in the NHL this year (regular season and playoffs). I'm going to go off of that unless they state otherwise. He'll be ineligible to play in the NHL if Vegas do trade him now,

Believe it or not, he's actually a good middle 6 winger and I'd love for Montreal to do this deal.
