No shot Gallant lets Chytil into the top-6. He hates Chytil.

I am admittedly not a fan of Chytil, however the last couple of games he played hes looked pretty good. I think its a situation where you strike while the iron is hot and see what you got. He would be the shooter on that line which has long been needed. Its worth a try.

Definitely should do it, if not only to raise his trade value, but I doubt Gallant does it.

Goodrow/Chytil/Hunt was the best line tonight, why on earth would you want to break that up? They finally had a 3rd line that contributed.

Because this organization has invested too much time in Chytil. Hes been playing well, we need to see where this can go. That third line is not dependent on Chytil. A third line of Hunt/Goodrow/Vatrano would be equally as good. Chytil will never get the chance to really explore his scoring ability playing with Goodrow and Hunt, or Gauthier, or McKegg, or Brodzinski. We need to promote positive reinforcement.

With the potential of Strome walking at the end of the year, dont you want to know if Chytil can handle the role of a 2C? Because it sure as hell doesnt look like the organization has any plans to trade him.

Better chance of experimentation happening on Tuesday vs the Devils, but hopefully he’ll have a few extra pieces to play with by then

Chytil has shown no signs of being able to handle the 2C slot. The last thing they need is to be even more ineffective 5v5 with only 20 something games left before the playoffs. If Chytil can actually be effective on the 3rd line, I see no reason to move him up, unless its at RW until Kakko gets back. At center, no thanks.
