Wings aren't splitting up Bert and Erne. Avs could play two Canadian teams in the post season and Bert cant cross the border. Not to mention the cost is higher than you with your hookah

No saying it isn't a fair trade, but do the Avs want to go into the summer with Berts cap when they might want to resign their own players.

I think thats just for vaccinated travellers, he will need to isolate for 8 days. Its too big of a headache to make work, give up assets for and piss off the fan base.
How open would he be to a name change? Something like Mahunclesuks.

The YouTube channel 'Top Shelf Hockey' claims COVID restrictions are weakening, thus supporting a Bertuzzi trade, but my Google-fu has unsuccessfully found any sources to back up that claim. If anyone knows of a good source for that, please update us.

Either way, the proposed trade isn't nearly strong enough for Bertuzzi. If I'm Yzerman, Alex Newhook is a must. If he isn't included, the trade is a complete non-starter. Foudy has a slim chance of being the 2C Detroit covets and Bowers is definitely not going to be a 2C in the NHL. Unlikely that Detroit finds a 1/2C with COL's 1st rounder at all, let alone within the timeframe DET needs this center by.

So, no. Yzerman would never accept this trade. There is no rush for him to trade Bertuzzi. If he trades him at the deadline, the return will surely be juicy. Otherwise, he might as well wait until the offseason when teams will be less concerned with Bertuzzi's vaccination status.
