That deal for lindholm makes some sense.

That deal for garland does not, unless he can play center and has been hiding it from everyone.

Hell of an overpayent for Garland

I like Garland but I would not pay that much, Would not give up a 1st to start with. Lindholm is fine if the Ducks take that but I would keep the 3rd and try for less cap hit for that term. Pastrnak will be getting paid and McAvoy is already signed. Not sure Lindholm will fit in there with that salary. You never know

Overpay on both. I like Garland but he's marginally better than DeBrusk and that margin does not equal three first-round picks. Lindholm is close, but it can't be Lohrei.

While thats a massive haul for Garland it does not help our defensive woes.We really need a young stud RD to play with Hughes.Garland would be a good fit in Boston just in a different trade.IMHO.
