Yes, it fits the criteria by saying it like that, but I would say it needs a better prospect and a better young roster player. This was also something mentioned by Shinzawa in an article in the Athletic today, that Boston's offer is most likely outdone by other teams.

Arizona says you have to do better. Chiarot, a 30 year old UFA to be got a 1st, a 4th and a prospect. If you want Chychrun it's going to have to hurt a little more. Lohrei instead of Urho Vaak.

Would not trade for a player who most likely just suffered his second concussion in less than a month.

We need to stop saying, “but Chiarot got….” About every single trade. He didn’t re-set the market. Teams have always overpaid for guys of his ilk. It’s a problem in the market. The floor is to high, the ceiling is too low come deadline time.

I don't know too much about him so I can't say if he's good or not, but what he wrote seemed logical. I also think it will be rather easy to find a better return than this as those pieces assets aren't too good. Almost all teams have players of that value in their system and it's not something that gets you an asset like Chychrun.

For example….

Zellweger, Neighbours, Vilardi, Faber, Clarke, Jarvis, Morrow, CBJ/CHI 1st, Ceulemans among reported teams. Some of the pieces are more likely than others, but there's a spectrum of appealing assets some other teams can offer. Then there's the personal opinion of everyone, but I'm not too keen on Lysell, but perhaps Arizona are (or some other Bruins player) and that keeps Boston in the hunt.

Ya you’re overvaluing a whole bunch of guys there. Vilardi? Cmon. Zellweger is interesting, but very undersized for a dman.

I do, but it's just personal preference, and that's why I don't like Boston as a trade partner. Morrow and Cuelemans went later than Lysell, but they are good sized right shot D having good seasons and with top 4 potential. That's valuable in my mind. A lot of people probably prefer Lysell, and Arizona might be one of those, in which case it becomes different. Same goes for Vilardi. Injuries are a concern, but he is healthy now and looks good. Always liked him.

After that wheeler trade you just posted, i wouldn’t throw any shade.
