This is not a good return for Detroit. We are trading away a young cost controlled point per game player for a middle six winger and middle pair defenseman the same age as him, and a B level prospect plus a second. If we trade Bertuzzi, it is because Yzerman believes his age does not fit with our cup window, so we will be looking for prospects that fit with Raymond/Seiders window, or first round picks. That's it.

Poulin or POJ?

It checks some boxes for Detroit. I just think a lot depends if Yzerman would rather have picks or NHL pieces. I'd like pettersson but we can get him without giving up bert.

You honestly think that's over valuing? Bertuzzi > Kapanen plus a LD in Pettersson that's no better then the LD we've in our pipeline. Don't know much on Broz but i'm pretty sure he's not on Yzerman's radar plus a late 2nd for a PPG player like Bertuzzi is nowhere near enough. First off Bertuzzi's not coming in at 1.5 years. Yzerman wont move him unless there's an agreeable long term extension similar to the Seth Jones trade in place. So at minimal Yzerman would want Kapanen+Pettersson+Pittsburgh's 2022 1st round pick+Pittsburgh's 2022 2nd round pick and probably Poulin on top of it.

Hardly, Bertuzzi is worth as much as J. T. Miller and that doesn't even come close to getting Miller.
