Nashville is not gonna take on a guy like JVR @ 7 million

If Flyers acquire Helleson I'd expect him to go straight into the NHL fairly soon. He's NHL ready, especially for a non contender.

True, the idea is to give a tough vet RD to pair with Cam York initially (theres a few like Gudbranson/Lauzon/Zadorov/etc), and in time possibly move Sanheim in trade, York goes to 2LD and Helleson comes up the year after on 3RD.

The Flyers when healthy, (or only missing one key player like Ellis/Couterier/Hayes) has a winning record. Problem is they've had Farabee, Hayes, Brassard, Couts, Alison, Thompson, Ellis miss half the season or more, thats 4 of your top 6 forwards and your 1st pairing RD.

Helleson would be the best RD prospect (joined by Ronnie Attard) while LD has Zamula, Ginning and a few others. I would break in Cam York and then Helleson the next year

Koskinen is not a cap dump and he won't be getting moved at the deadline. And especially the Oilers won't be PAYING someone to take their 21-9-3 goalie!
