As a Sabres fan, I don't hate the Mrazek deal. He is having a tough year in Toronto, but after watching the Sabres 5-1 manhandling of the Leafs, I can understand why a goalie might struggle behind that defense. He is young enough that if he returns to forum, he'll be a nice piece for the next few years.

Buffalo declines because:

1. Helps Leafs
2. No where near enough value, we aren't giving up 2 better value contracts for a bad contract and getting a mere 3rd for all of that
3. Helps Leafs

Whitecloud is clearly and awesome contract and great player. But with Vegas being against the cap and having some good defensive depth in that spot the 2mil vs entry level deal could make it less crazy. I still think vegas could do way better trading whitecloud.

I honestly dont know Garvikovs value, but he is going to be a second pair guy on that team at best forever. Columbus is in a retool and getting a slightly younger defenseman and a quality LW who could play up their lineup. I think I underestimated his cost and adding some draft pick would help.

How is Mark Jankowski viewed in the market? The way I saw it was buffalo is going no where fast both players being sent to toronto are older. 99% of playoff teams dont need Anderson, no rebuilding team wants a goalie of his age.

I frankly think Mrazek is a rather bad goalie who has only ever worsened year after year. Hence the reason I have zero reason to take him off your hands. I'd rather keep our random guys and let the Leafs stew at the end of the day.

An under 25 year old Right hand shot locked up for 6 years under 3 million. There’s zero chance vegas will be better off trading him unless we’re getting a stud RHD on an ELC, which why would they trade that guy?

Then you will really hate this trade proposal when you realize you don't even get the 2023 3rd round pick, it tentatively belongs to Arizona.

If you legitimately, honestly think that any sort of winger of any kind short of someone at Laine's or Marner's or PKane's or Panarin's level would do anything to improve this team, you haven't actually been paying attention at all.
