They should go for Boeser instead. He’s more controllable than Rackell, who’s a UFA this year. Idc if it costs them Kapanen, POJ and a 2nd/1st, it’d be worth it.

Trading Marino is easier said than done. No team would take his contract right now.

Trading a good middle 6 winger (Heinen) for a bum (Holl) is not a good idea.

Now on earth is Heinen a “good” middle 6 winger? You have 5 Heinens either in Wilkes or on the bench right now that can do as much (or more) than him. He is extremely expendable and easily replaceable.

And holl is a very good defence man. Physical, but can skate, and is very cheap.
