Yes, makes total sense but Holland will likely miss out if this was actually offered.

Those are 2 significant downgrades and only saves 100k in cap space (while adding an extra year of term for both players - which in this case is a bad thing since both Kassian and Smith are overpaid)

I don't get the reasoning here at all tbh
