If JDB keeps producing on the top line, I doubt he’s going anywhere! And Frederick on the RW is probably a bad idea as well as breaking up his line like a previous post mentioned. I doubt Sweeney’s making any big moves.

100% speculation on my part (like literally every post on this website), but I’m starting to feel like JD is staying for the season. It’s hard to see a scenario where he gets moved and the Bs get better unless it’s part of a series of moves to upgrade at D and bring in a top 6 RW.

Bs will have $5 mil in deadline cap space which expands their trade horizons since they could theoretically make deals that aren’t dollar for dollar or need a lot of salary retention.

And please no “you have to get something for him before he walks for nothing in the offseason.” 30 games of good production is something. Trade his rights for a 5th or 6th rounder in the summer and enjoy watching a Bs team with some depth in the playoffs for a change.
