Description

Just wanted to see if we had room to totally revamp the third line at the 2022 TDL AND also keep both guys. Looks like we don't. I haven't even signed a backup yet and we're already over the cap. Plus I think I came in optimistically low on all the signings I did except maybe Kakko.

Actually you could probably scrap the Lehkonen trade and just sign Blais for like $1.5M to play 3RW and then fit under the cap.

4 players short, Over the cap. Plus need to set aside at least $4,500,000 for performance bonuses. Yeah this isn't going to work.

You want to keep that 2022 first rounder if you're thinking long term. You're going to need players on ELCs over the next few years, so I would be hesitant to move that pick. I don't think Comtois is being moved either.

Paying way too much for Lehkonen and Kulak. I'd focus on top 6 scoring options for the right wing, rather than 2 way forwards in the top 9.

I don’t think Strome returns. I think they replace him from within. Barron/Chytil/Goodrow might all split the 2C/3C but I’m interested to see if Korczak gets a look. Maybe we use the 1st to get another C this year.
