Several things wrong with this offer.
1) Bad blood between Yzerman and Drouin. Virtually no chance Yzerman trades for him.
2) Mysak appears to be a decent prospect, but is not NHL ready and unlikely to be as good as Zadina. Zadina is 22, already in the NHL, and developing fairly well. If Zadina's being traded for a prospect, that prospect either has to have a higher ceiling or in a position of need for the Red Wings.
3) Zadina would not sign a deal that's $25K over his qualifying offer, especially for multiple years.

Phase 2 is not taking on a player that Yzerman butted heads with an caused him problems. He pretty much robbed Sergachev from Habs. He is not going to undue that and take him back for Zadina. Not saying Zadina is better than Drouin, but he has been there done that with him and doubt he wants to do that again, plus he gave Mantha a pretty good deal and realized he is not what he wanted and dealt him last year at the deadline. He in now way is taking him back.

Hell would freeze over before Yzerman would take Drouin back and visa versa.

Drouin would have to put up McDavid numbers next season for a team to give up a first for him.

He can't even play a full season. Doesn't score goals. 2023 is a deep draft. He'd be a rental. Drouin would not get a 2023 first.
