I understand you don't want to trade 1st for rentals but in the situation where the cap isn't going up anytime soon (By much), Matthews and Nylander should get raises, your top LD should retire (If he doesn't do it earlier), your prospect pool is whelming (Now with Amirov's future being uncertain) and they'll need to pay for a goaltender at some point (Can't run on sub 3M$ starters forever). Do you think there will, at some point, be a raising level of 'We need to do anything to win now' in the near future by Dubas?
