Blomqvist + 2nd + 3rd or 4th probably gets it done. Blomqvist is a good prospect

I’d say the Dallas trade is good, the Seattle trade is unnecessary. Soucy is a LD and Sully really only does the Lefty-righty pairings unless injuries force his hand. And being Friedman plays both sides and is really solid I’d think ZAR would be more valuable to the pens being our most physical forward and player honestly.
I think if you switched the ducks trade to Blomqvist and Kapanen, maybe even added a mid-late pick or Legare to the deal might get it done for both sides.

I don't mind Soucy but cap wise it doesn't work out. They don't another 2.75 mil to spend on defense going forward. Which is the real concern.

Just now we realize how important zucker is, he’s willing to go into the dirty areas and is a hard forechecker, which opens up space for geno. I love that top + reuniting that 4th line. My only question is if erod can regain some of his production and if Carter can pitch in on offence plus serve as a solid defensive line. If they’re firing on all cylinders and jarry can be who he’s been, i see good things coming

Rakell is a rental. If he gets a prospect and a 2nd Anaheim does the deal. They need to rebuild. They need the draft picks more than anything.

Poulin and PO-J are top 100 prospects on any list u can find out there( PO-J usually in the 90’s and Poulin usually anywhere from 60-90). PO-J NHL ready. I doubt Rakell brings back a top 100 prospect plus a 2nd.

He definitely doesn’t bring back a young NHL player, still just 25 year old, that is a a RFA too. 110% doenst bring back Kappy plus a prospect..lol..for a rental?? I don’t think so.

Maybe Legare and a 2nd. Or JUST a late 1st. That’s what rentals bring back. A late 1st from a contender. Or a prospect plus a 2nd, 3rd or mid round pick.
