Yikes, why would the Leafs want that near ending contract expensive contract for RNH. And the Leaf give up picks too?

???, Nuge's contract is a great deal and if u are talking about how long it is Nuge isn't 30 yet and he plays a style of game that ages very well. doesn't matter anyway Oilers not trading him for that

Wow, then Kerfoot must be on a super great deal. Both players have 37 points, yes RNH has played 8 few games, but Kerfoot cap hit is 2.35 less than RHN.
Gee, I don't see why the Leafs would trade Kerfoot for RNH straight up, or Dermot for Russell. And Leafs are expected to give up a first and second too? Absurd.

bruh, Nuge is like miles better then him in every way, Kerfoot is just some middle six'er who is having a good season and he is playing on Tavares wing. Nuge is like assist machine on the powerplay and the games were he was able to be the 3rd line center because of Kane he and Hyman and Kass made a line that was the most productive on the team even more then Drai's and McDavid's lines, Nuge is also the Oilers best pk forward, it doesn't matter anyway Oilers are never trading Nuge he is like the heart and soul of the team and he is going to be first career Oiler

Sorry you don't appreciate the season Kerfoot. Gee, you call RHN a power play assist machine.....heck Kerfoot doesn't play much of the Leafs league leading PP. And Kerfoot plays the PK also...4th best in the league, RHN at the Oilers 26th. I believe Kerfoot has the best plus minus of the Leafs forward. Wanna build up RHN play fine, but seems like you're just describing the more cost efficient Kerfoot.

Bottom line is this, I do believe RNH is the better player which I why I made the trade, I do believe RNH would excel more than Kerfoot playing with JT WN, but RNH has also had the benefit of playing with Dria and McDavid regularly at ES and the PP. RNH value is greater than Kerfoot more God given natural talent.

RNH also isn't the Oilers identity at all nor would he really be missed. This does free up a significant amount of cap space for the Oilers and adds to their pick cupboard for the sole purpose of they finally get off the pot and try to improve this team while they still have McDavid and Dria in the fold.

It is a different trade and it is out of left field
