Rantanen seems like the optimal comparable for Slafkovksy.

Yurov doesn't look like Svechnikov or Kucherov at all to me. I think of him as a Pavel Buchnevich type player, meaning a Forward that does everything somewhere between really well and almost elite but without one standout elite trait.

I think Eric / Jordan Staal work really well for Geekie.

The Nemec comparables don't work at all for me. All 3 have never been / are not great at defense and their offensive skills have always been miles better compared to their respective defensive skills. Comparing Nemec's defense to his offensive doesn't have the same outcome: he's more of a two-way D-man who's offense is slightly better than his defense but he's still very good in his own end.

Slafkovsky is more a 3-5. I do like the comparison of Slafkovsky to Malkin. Both of them use their large stature to their advantage. Cooley should be either 2 or 3. Nemec is the best D-man going into this draft, but not by much. He should be higher than Jiricek. Jiricek should be a 6-7. Kemell should be a top 10.
