Means either Edmonton makes the 3rd round or finals in either year

I would accept all these as a hawks fan, but don't see EDM and NSH agreeing there. I don't see Kubalik's value that high any more and also don't see a Hagel trade happening due to how high the ask is

I almost like that Oilers trade. It just seems to be to much to give up when your number 1 need is a goalie not a forward despite the forward being good/comes with term/cost controlled. But if the the Oilers are going to spend that many premium assets it has to be for a quality starter with term/cost control. It's evident the Oilers can not move forward as a team without a quality starter but not just for this year, they need someone who will at least be around for the rest of McDavids time with the team.

McDavid isn’t gonna be around much longer if they don’t do something. Sure, EDM wants a goalie with term. But no goalie with an NTC is gonna go there and there is no defense to playin front of them. Either go for it or sell.

Also Hagel is the next Troy Terry with better defence

If Kubalik doesn’t have that value, I’m hoping the Wild jump in during the off-season if he’s still there. A 2nd and B/C prospect could be a steal in my book.

I don’t watch either guy enough to know what this means. But I think they’re both good.

There was literally nothing constructive with what you said. What I said was just facts and what EDM needs to do and you took that as another chance to take a jab. Oilers need to address goaltending, simple as that. Get your garbage negative narrative opinion out of here.

    That's way too rich for Edmonton, you've got two 1sts + a 2nd that can become a 1st + a B prospect for a rental goalie and a middle-6 winger. Not a chance.

And how exactly are they supposed to do that when Holland projects that his entire draft stock is off the table and the middling prospects in the system are too? This is a jab at Holland if it’s a jab at all.

At least the proposal addresses that and also makes the team better. I believe EDM is going to have to pay extra for any goalie. So while, yeah, this is a lot, it’s probably not too far off from what it would cost.
