So this is a massive underpayment from Toronto for what they got. You're easily looking at adding at least Robertson, another 1st and a second spread among the 2 teams...

Someone just said Kerfoot is better than JT Miller.

@Dutchies @Rhea I think it's time to leave your team. This is unsalvageable now.

My commentary on this trade would be like 17 pages long, and it wouldn't be flattering, so I'm just gonna condense it..........

But sure, in an alternate universe where Kerfoot is 6'2" and 200 lbs, scores 80 points a year and plays 20 minutes a night on the top line, he's totally better than Miller...........

The CLB trade gets Domi alone at 50%. I'd take him to play on the 3rd line.
I don't want to trade Neimela, but he and the first would most likely be the value for Miller (without retention)
Depending on VAN's value on Schenn, a prospect or pick would do, if you want retention you have to bump the value (VAN fans who think they're getting a first or second for Schenn are crazy). That being said, he's played really well this year but based on his minutes, he's still a 3rd pairing guy.
Honestly, Kerfoot is just there to make the cap work. He's a good player, but not a difference maker.

We can't leave our team @reelkena Where can @Rhea and I get the rollercoaster of emotions that come with a team playing like crap against our last place arch rivals and then play an excellent game against a cup contender??

Just come to the team that tea bagged Calgary for a touchdown last night.

Best couple of hours I may have ever spent watching slappy puck.

Well I may I suggest coming to your arch nemesis Habs who play again big team and win easily but when going for team in mediocre they loose so easily. I kinda feel that rollercoaster me too XD ( Not really talking about this year)

Gentlemen, I appreciate your concern, but I will stay with my current team. Switching to a new team means buying new apparel, making new friend, changing medications.........

And @reelkena

Just remember.

Chuck Norris doesn't teabag people.
He potato sacks them!

Like others have said, in order to discuss this trade proposal comprehensively would take pages to do so; therefore, I skipped the end conclusion that Kerfort is better than Miller. Let me make it simple by amending the original statement as follows (Kerfort is better than Miller for the Leafs). Just in case you are not aware the #1 and #2 Center positions are currently occupied by players that are sure to populate the Hall of Fame one day. For that matter, just because Miller is capitalizing on the extra ice time with elite wingers and finding personal success doesn't mean other teams are going to value him. In fact, if he is so great why are you trying to trade him? I get it you are trying to sell high I don't blame you for that... I myself have been guilty of that!

However, I do not believe anyone who follows hockey shares your assessment that the Leafs are "unsalvageable".

Toronto has ZERO A grade prospects. Anyone that thinks they do, is either not very knowledgeable or has blinders on.

For JT it is going to cost. Either a 1st rounder and two GRADE A prospects OR 2 1st rounders and one GRADE A prospects.

If a team does not have that (Bos, Tor, Veg, Cgy, Edm, etc) don't even call.

No, leafs fans are unsalvageable because there is one in the world that thinks Kerfoot is better than Miller in any circumstance. Also Miller plays wing more than center before this year. He only took center to give Petey a break. I love Brock but elite is a stretch. You thinking teams are not going to value Miller is pretty funny. None of your points are accurate and it would be heartbreaking if it wasn't so typical.

Ask reasonable leaf fans if any of your takes are close. Hell, ask fans of the other 30 teams before you scream some dumb I'm biased comment.

JT would cost 3 pieces but maybe not 3 top. Niemela a 1st and Liljegren would be closer than you think.

You are entitled to your opinion. As am I, and if you think Miller is so valuable, keep him. We'll keep Kerfoot and all is well!

BTW. Glorifying oneself above the rest because they may think differently than you, is ridiculous and childish don't you think?
Oh, ya please remind me how many cups the Canucks...EVER?

Check yourself!

People should not be entitled to factually incorrect opinions.

It has nothing to do with glorifying. you just can't figure out why everyone knows you're wrong and you can't fight it.

Check that.
