Rangers have to do something to improve their team. They have a below average team with the best goalie in the league.

Half of Olofsons goals come on the PP, which he won't get much ice time on as a Ranger, so his offensive production would drop quite a bit if he was a Ranger. No thanks. Keep him, there are way better options out there at RW.

Hard to believe that Rangers are a below average team.....they are fifth in the league.

he’s actually developed nicely into a much better 5v5 player & was doing great this year till injured

First, taking Nemeth really makes it hard to accept that trade.
But Buffalo needs RHD and hopefully Lundkvist just needs a little more time in the AHL, because he has a great resume.
I would make the trade hope Nils will prove to be an NHL top 4 RHD and send Nemeth to the AHL.
Second, Hasek made an AHL team a playoff team.
I would not presume the Rangers are that bad, but with Igor Shesterkin between the pipes and the current team they should be better than fifth best.
Send Georgiev to Buffalo for Anderson and a good pick, I think you will see the team rise in the standings.

Disagree. Kravtsov was a top 10 pick 2 years ago, Rangers will have a pick between 16-20, Robertson is a second round pick 3 years ago. Only would agree to adding a 2nd rounder if AZ pushed. While it was a different situation, Eichel only fetched Tuch, Krebs, & a 1st.

Eichel, while a totally different player, also makes 5.4 million dollars more than Chychrun. Chychrun is an elite defenceman at an incredible bargain. Eichel is an elite center at an elite center's salary.

kravtsov was a top 10 pick, nearly four years ago actually. Decent KHL numbers, sub par NHL numbers, disappointing AHL numbers. He does not have enough value to be the main piece in a Chychrun deal. If he did, I'm sure Chych would be a Ranger by now. Try again
