Cant see this happening. Not only are the habs taking on the 2mil from Murray's dump and retaining salary on lehk, but they add in kulak and only get a 2nd and an underachiever like Kaut? Nah no thanks.

There’s not one chance in hell that Artturi Lehkonen gets Justin Barron. He’s never scored more than 20 goals or 40 points, he plays 3rd line minutes, and his RFA status doesn’t mean nearly as much as people like to say it does. He’s 26 with one year of RFA eligibility remaining and arbitration rights.

Lehkonen is an inferior player to both of those guys, and the each got less than what you’re suggesting.

The habs taking on murray's cap isn't the issue. They cldnt give two sh**s about adding salary this year. What you may fail to realize is that the habs would have no incentive whatsoever in the above transaction, so therefore, they won't just simply be doing Colorado any favors. Bruh.
