I think he would waive to come to Edmonton. His family is close to Edmonton, and his brother played in Edmonton for CFL. He would come watch all the time during summer. Also. Was lots of speculation that he was gunna sign with Edmonton this off-season. But ultimately chose to stay

Oilers aren’t in on chychrun for a very good reason. Keith has another year and already faced with the reality of klef attempts a return that’s a very expensive left side with several youth also on that side obviously pushing for a full time spot two are called up playing now. Giving up a bunch of highly valued assets to add to that makes no sense.
If the ducks were way out of the race maybe that would be an option however they are trending in the right direction and taking positive steps don’t think they will consider such a move.
Also sending as many assets out as you’ve done in those two trades cripples the organizations depth which hurts the farm team and results in hurting development of the prospects still have left

Those were just rumors. Not sure they were by a credible source. His wife and kids all live in SoCal and I assume he would prefer to stay with them.

Says who? He seemed optimistic during training camp when he was in town that he would like to continue his career. Don’t think should rule it out until he announces retirement. As of right now he’s still well within the expected recovery timeframe and haven’t seen any reports of set backs or anything. Just because he’s out of sight doesn’t mean he should be out of mind.

Chychrun is overrated. Pass.
