Assuming Stone stays on LTIR for the rest of the season (Until playoffs) I don't think they could... but it wouldn't really make sense for them to pick up any players at league min. Especially with all the extra depth players they already have.

They are a force that is for sure. There a few god mode teams this year. Carolina, Florida, Colorado, Toronto, Tampa come to mind. All of these teams are disgusting and don't have any huge holes. Holes of course but nothing insane.

It will be interesting to see how the playoffs go. 14 out of the 16 playoff teams will have extremely good teams. There will be very few easy playoff rounds.

The Leafs team is extremely talented and deep. Their forward line up is atrocious to deal with. Their D corp is very solid but is clearly the area they will look to improve. Their goaltending is solid (although Campbell has been struggling as of late).

By all accounts Leafs are in the ballpark with the rest of those teams listed.

The playoffs this year will be extremely rough. At least one of the teams that I listed will be out in the first round. Doesn't change the fact that their team is extremely good.

Dubas has iced a very good team and has made a lot of very good moves as GM. If they lose first round, I assume one of the core 4 will be traded then, but the loss isn't on Dubas. Same goes if Carolina or Colorado or a team like that gets axed early.

You haven't done anything here that allows VGK to get to the end of the season with all these players signed and under contract. Thompson is the only player who is waiver exempt. All others will be grabbed as quickly as they hit the wire.
