What are those lines? Lee definitely shouldn't be on the 4th and Bellows would make it over Czarnik/Holmstrom. Don't think Forsberg commands 10mil as an FA, that's a big overpayment

Laine is the most overrated player in the NHL. The isles wouldn't give their 2022 1st straight up for Laine.

The 2022 1st will be in the top 10 and it's very likely a player in that spot will be better than Laine.No shot the isles trade it

Islanders are not getting the Bruins 1st.

Boston is not a Cup contender even with Nelson.

The Bruins should look to sign someone like Trochek IN FA for that 6M that they would be paying Nelson AND make selection in 1st round of 2022 draft.

but it dosent mean it will be automatically a top 10 pick if you dont make the playoffs. it could very well be around 15. and thats still way too little for laine

It could be but like i said it probably will be around 8-10. Wasnt ommenting on value for laine just your assertion that the NYI pick would be 18-20

Barzal, Wahlstrom and Mayfield (if hes not dealt) will all command and deserve substantial raises so dont see how signing Forsberg and Laine makes that possible although I wish it would be. but of the 2 id rather Laine
