Even at 50 percent retained, TOR cannot afford that Burns contract. SJ will just keep him and hope he goes on LTIR with Karlsson. Then they'll buy out Vlasic or he'll retire. Then they can sign Ferraro, Meier, Hertl.

Sharks are not retaining 12mil lol for what is still a very effective dman. He's currently top 15 in points and has improved his defensive game dramatically.

He has yet to have a point per game season and hasn't even been that close to reaching it. What you're asking for is basically more than what eichel. Not realistic.

Gonna have to sauce us more if we're retaining that much.

I'm fine with moving Burns but this is essentially us retaining 12 million for a 4th and taking on a cap dump.
