With a conditional 2023 3rd pick. If Chychrun scores more than 0.6 ppg in the 22-23 season it becomes a 2023 2nd and if he scores more than 0.8 ppg it becomes a 2023 1st pick. He needs to play at least 25 games aswell that season or this condition does not kick in. Trouba gets bought out when he has 1 year left and then they extend Chychrun as his contract expires.

I doubt Minnesota gets rid of Zucc. He is a vital piece of our organization and makes the same amount of money as Dumba, for example. We could trade him instead, or let Goligoski, Sturm walk and save money that way.

This might have been the rumored offered from NYR that included Kravtsov (logical opening bid and easy to give up for NYR), but it didn't happen and I can't see it happening either. For the moment NYR are out of the sweepstakes and this is probably why. Unless they up their offer they aren't getting him.

The thought process here is that he will be 37 years old on an expiring deal and Minnesota will lose 13-14m from the buyout of Parise and Suter and they will need to get rid of him then. Doubt they wanna lose Greenway etc

Laf is playing fine but he isn’t getting regular minutes, so he can’t expect to get much money.

Kakko is playing good in my opinion, he is winning puck battles and carrying the puck to the traffic areas. But that may be just what he is at this point, it doesn't seem he'll be an elite producer.
