Description
Add or subtract anything from trades?

This is just to see thoughts on potential trades Anaheim will be making

Other cap dumps for Anaheim to take on?

I’d say Henrique, Silfverberg, Shattenkirk, Steel & Grant could be on the trade block as well — depending on the return

Rakell for a 2nd sure, Pelletier is way more valuable than Rakell by himself though

Any news on Milano. I get this horrible feeling he isn’t coming back this year. They haven’t said anything yet but I feel it is concussion related (they labelled it upper body injury). Poor guy has had it bad with that, practically missed all last year.

Pelletier wouldn't come back in a Rakell-deal.

Doubt Lindholm get's that.

A 1st or a 2nd + a prospect seems more likely for Manson.

Vegas will not be sending assets just to shed salary. I understand the thinking but at trade deadline, there certainly will be enough interest in whoever they move that it will at minimum mean they won’t need to sell at a loss and likely will receive decent assets.

Don’t forget, they got a 3rd for Reaves while cap crunched. A 4th for Eakin while cap crunched. A 2nd and 3rd for Gusev while cap crunched. A fourth for Stastny while cap crunched. A 3rd for Schmidt while cap crunched. A 2nd for Miller while cap crunched. Roy and a 5th for Haula while cap crunched. And nothing for Fleury while cap crunched and him having a M-NTC and an agent telling front offices he will retire is traded.

Appreciate the input. I wasn’t sure about what prospect and he is the only one in the Flames system I’m familiar with so put him in. A B prospect and a 2nd or just a 1st and no prospect?

I though I heard John say that he traveled to Detroit so I think he could be ready to go for the next one

Should have just typed in prospect there instead of Pelletier

1st for Manson & Rakell and 1st & prospect for Lindholm sounds about right though no?

Would you move anyone else? Or wait until the off season and/or the following deadline?

Could be the right value but I'm not sure.

Don't really know who else should / could be moved.

B prospect and a 2nd. Flames have loads of cap space this deadline and if they want to contend someone like Rakell should be the secondary addition. The 1st will be spent on the main add

I heard that too. but also his concussion specialist he saw all year last year is from that area. And I feel if he was close to a return we hear something from the team. I hope I’m wrong. He’s been an awesome story.

why is PIT sending a 1st and a prospect when all they need is a 3RD?
That doesn't even make any sense. You'd be better off looking for a team with greater need at defense.
Try TOR.

As far as Dadonov,, I don't think VGK has to pay to move him.
