Difficult to actually make any type of excuse for this type of inconsistent for 1 and for 2 regressing play. You can't really say this is because of the team either because once I get my hockey viz back it will show that his play improved when certain players jumped on the ice. He would drop when they weren't on the ice.

he always regresses worse than before he will have a bad year make it up then be worse than 2 the last time he was bad all the way up until now. We need a defensive defenseman so Offense is pointless for us to look at

Exactly. Who cares where other GM's might put him. We know his exact slot with the blues. That's all that matters. The question Army has to figure out is whether giving up all those assets is worth the difference between Chychrun and Parayko vs Mikkola and Parayko as the top shutdown duo. I say got for it, just dont get rid of Sunny. Stick perunovich in there instead.

Define a Top Pairing defenseman. One who gives up a bunch of plays on the defensive end and hasn't been anything on offense counts as a top pair defenseman? Arizona wants Eichel Value for him.Chychrun as more of a chance of becoming Karlsson than he does of being someone who fits as a "shutdown defenseman" he's never done that ever. Never has been that great on defense. Only reason anyone would believe he's top pair is because of the name. Same with Seth Jones. Plays like crap guess what only reason he got that much was because of big name.



Hanifin provided better numbers overall with Carolina. He's too much of a risk. You trade them want they want Blues probably come out looking like dumb*sses like Buffalo was signing Jeff Skinner that big contract.

The idea of getting Chychrun without having to give up Perunovich, along with getting rid of Scandella and Sundqvist makes this a must accept for the blues

also the only year he was looking solid is the year with a condensed schedule and 5 of the 7 offensive lineups weren't very good which included everyone except Colorado and Vegas.

Thats inaccurate, he just put up his most points that year, he was nearly as good the year prior

again a condensed season where he played an injured St.Louis, San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Minnesota only 2 remotely worth saying any impressive stats would be vegas and colorado and that's moot.
