I don’t like it from Arizona’s perspective. I can move chychrun and be fine, I don’t think there’s any chance he re-signs, but Keller has been piling up the points lately on a bad team, you’d be hoping kaliyev becomes the player he already is. I can take that chance with grans and the picks for chychrun, I’d prefer to give Wright/Cooley/savoie Keller to adjust easier to the league

I mean in reality ARI only gets the one 1st. Not all of them and not getting Kaliyev In Only a Chychrun deal

I assumed Turcotte, grans, and the 22 1st was the price of chychrun. I’d be good stopping the deal there. If you got chychrun and Keller you’re a playoff team no doubt, so that 23 1st is low, and no matter how much I like Arthur I’d rather just keep Keller

A deal this size would have to be in off-season. But maybe you could split up. Chychrun now, Keller later.

Yeah I just don’t see Arizona moving him for that or really anything. He’s on pace for 70 pts this year with pretty much no one helping him offensively, give him a Wright/Cooley/bedard and he’s likely now over a PPG player making $7m long term. I see the allure of putting him and kopitar together, but I don’t think Arizona can replace him with a package of 2 1sts
