Honestly, I was debating doing Nils Lundkvist (cause WPG needs RD) and a 2nd in this. However wasnt sure if trading a 20yo highly touted RD for Copp is the best choice for the Rangers.

Yea the one thing I want the Rangers to avoid are bidding wars. No matter what you do, the Cup run is so unpredictable.

Let's not get too crazy...Stastny is 36...and they both are UFA's come July...can see WPG wanting more- but let's not be unrealistic!

I think he means just the 2nd round pick is what Stastny's value is.

Getting a second round pick isn't unrealistic for Stastny. It happens every TDL. Copp will be traded for the best package available if moved.
