not even Holland is giving up a 1st and Holloway for a middling backup goalie and a near 28 year old forward without a single 50 point season on a terrible contract

Who care if he got 50 points Edmonton need pmaywrs that can put the put in the net. Anderson would thrive beside McDavid, he got tremendous speed and a hard shot. He destroyed the opponents d-men and create a lot a miscue and confusion. You probably hate him since he completely own Toronto last year. Anderson is a great forward on a fair deal. He brings physicality, speed, toughness and he can score. He brings lot more intangible than players that get 50 points or even 90 and make 10,5 millions.

they care because he is hilariously over paid for what he brings. I do love how habs fans try and rationalize any critique of their players with that "oh he beat your team" it's really letting the insecurity shine through.
Nah dude, he's just not good. He's a decent goalscorer who is streakier than most, he's awful defensively and he cant turn when he's skating more than 2kph without falling on his back and flailing like the worlds angriest turtle.
He has one more point than Pierre Engvall while getting way way way more ice time with better players. That's as sad as the habs playoff chances

Nah dude what is sad is that the leafs will get blown in the first round again this year and you will continue to unvalues everysinglw players on every single team because you need to pass your frustration of beiing a leaf fan

playoff performance is a fun measuring stick by the fan of a team who hasnt made the playoffs in a real season since 2017. Dont worry, by 2027 they'll be ready to challenge for the wild card again

Why don’t the oilers just find a way to sign Kane to term instead. More possible off ice stuff but he’s physical can score and less of an injury history to worry about. Plus get to keep Holloway and a first. Allen hasn’t been good enough to warrant bringing in.

You mean the reality that Toronto lost to the Worst NHL team just because one players torches them. This is even more pathetic. You deserved to be the most pissed fan based. I should be conciliant with you since it most be a horrible feeling to probably never saw the cup elsewhere then in the hall of fame museum. Im sorry for you

Those players that where so bad that beat Toronto in the first round and make it all way up to the stanley cup final. Do i have to remember you when was the last time Toronto have accomplished such accomplishments. All of this because someone can stand that other team have better players then them.

you're just gonna keep repeating this over and over every time some one points out that your players arnt very good? Man, you crumbled faster than Josh anderson trying to take a turn at half speed

Kane will probably take the more lucrative contract since he doesn’t have much left due to is bankruptcy. Holland will need to be creative on that one

and the only other option isnt to trade your best prospect and a 1st for a bad backup and an expensive middling 2nd line one way winger

Coming from a fan of a team that doesn't even make the playoffs. It's like telling Montreal is better than Tampa now because they won cups with Guy Lafleur and other in the 1900s
