Might take more than a few more weeks to get White and Brown back but fingers crossed for a quick recovery because the lines look good!

Both are on track for the end of February if I'm not mistaken. They'll be in a really bad way most of February, but I was looking ahead because frankly it's less depressing than looking at the immediate future.

Idk, there's not much difference between "going for a top pick" and playing to win games and build confidence. Sens are gonna be playing basically every other night and they just lost their best forward and their 40 goal pace 1C. They're going to suck by the nature of the circumstances. The only thing you can really do to "go for a top pick" outside of actively sabotaging the team is start selling early, and outside of like Paulie and Enzo none of these trade chips are really helping the team win anyway.

Basically the rest of the way all you're really looking for is continuing development of key young guys, and as much competitive hockey as possible. Guys I'm gonna be watching closely will be Brannstrom, Gaudette, Stützle and eventually White.

I listened to a little 10 minute media availability White did and believe he was saying late February-mid March is the hopeful timeline if his rehab continues to be way ahead of schedule, so maybe 4-6 more for White. Not sure on Brownie but he is week to week so maybe sooner than we think for him.

Either way there's no reason to rush any of them back. Hopefully the team lets them get back to 100% before jumping back in the lineup.

Yeah, I heard it as well. To me when he spoke, his optimism seemed to indicate he was on track for the earlier end of that range barring a setback.

Though the most important part of his press availability was the light he shed on the difficulties of wiping his ass with a bum shoulder 🤣


As for Brown, I believe I heard 2-3 weeks somewhere, I believe from DJ himself. I think it was mentioned that both he and (unfortunately) Zaitsev would be reevaluated after the all star break.
