Didn't Hughes say that Price is untouchable recently? I thought I remember seeing an article saying he did. If so that pretty much seals the deal as far as a rebuild goes cause if Price is untouchable we are NOT rebuilding.

I looked the only thing I found was this article and it more says that Hughes still needs to talk to Carey to figure out what carey wants to do before making a decision. Although he does make the following quote where he does say Carey is untouchable

Manson isn’t the type of defender we need on the top pairing if Tanger leaves. We need someone who can generate offense and be the point man on the top PP unit. Subban definitely can. Klingberg can too but I personally don’t think he’s worth 8 million plus. PK probably gets 5-6 million and signs a shorter deal. I’ll take that

That's the last thing this team needs.
As far as Manson, he's a solid 1RD. If you are worried about the PP they always have Marino to take that role, or most likely Matheson. Who is ideally suited for it.
