I honestly thought we were gonna lose as Campbell just didnt look like his usual self especially after seeing that weird Zegras shootout goal went in. But he made 2 important saves so im good. But Matthews sword celly was funny lul

2-1 in Shootouts now

Dont think we have had a positive shootout record since the Bozak, JVR days

I didn’t get to see exactly what led up, only that Hathaway was pissed off the draw, and was missing a helmet. Glad I didn’t leave early though, was a hell of a fight.

That H. U. R. T. S. for the Caps but you gotta be happy for Dahlen who was goalless (had 8 goals prior) for 15 games and rips one home with a huge celly by the team.


Unfortunate that Samsonov took that time to give up an easy goal. I’ll give him some leeway though, since he still looked a little shaken up after getting drilled by Ovi.

Asking because my dad was the “hero’s welcome” veteran for todays game. Because of it, I got to watch Slapshot race onto the ice, warmups from ice level (and stand 4ft away from Matt Irwin, who happened to be there with his family, and even had Vitek wave to his kid which was super cute), and meet Bob McDonald (one of the Caps anthem singers for those unfamiliar)

Just realized I’m bragging a **** ton but it was really awesome!

I agree - right away I said, Wilson is insanely lucky he was the one Dubas ended up doing the deal with; and if Wilson was the ONLY ONE.. then hes a genius.

I thought right away that this is one of those premium breakout candidates in the vain of Luke Kunin.
He's a great player.

Never thought he'd be this good all that said. Probably why it was so easy for the Leafs to part with him, he hit his ceiling which is rare.

Yup, Leafs went out and had too much depth last year. Jimmy ‘Vanilla’ Vesey and Jumbo Joe took his mins.

Happy to see him having success, just wish it was in a Leaf jersey

Shouldn't of been a penalty, Hall was finishing check and McKinnon again thinks he can dance a yankee-doodle-dandy in open-ice (did it twice in one game earlier this season).

So the Flyers I feel are gonna be in Purgatory under their current GM as he feels they dont need a short retool and instead will be competitive next year. Yeah Idk this group is inconsistent and we all thought making the playoffs 1 year then missing the following year was bad enough.

Like on paper they should have been much better but nothing clicked and now for the first time in a while back to back misses

To me trading some pieces and bringing in other players would be the starting point

Why? Because he had one good game? That’s not enough for Chicago to justify keeping them when they’re this bad, if anything they should trade him tomorrow and hope someone gives them a 2nd instead of a 3rd for him.
